The first dresses for Merida

The first dress I probed to Merida wasn't made for her. It was made for a vintage doll of my mom, which was found inside an old box, in a loft of my Grandma's house. The vintage doll appeared naked and we made a dress for her. Then, I probed it to Merida and the result was this:

She looked such fantastic with it!

But the dress was returned to its owner, my mom's doll, so we designed a dress specially made for Merida, a replica of one of my handmade night-dresses:

The material of the dress is 100% velvet, it's so soft and the fabric is very high quality.

Merida is a very good model! And green tones fit very good with her red hair and green eyes.

Homewear for Merida

First clothes I made for Merida, before Rapunzel joined us, were a batiste pyjama and a housecoat, with sleepers made with the same fabric.

I think she looks adorable with them! and specially because... I have a housecoat exactly like hers! I think blue tones make her hair seems brighter and more red. With that housecoat, she's more huggable if possible and I love her little feet into the sleepers.

I think she likes it too! :)

About Disney Animators Collection

I saw these dolls for the first time in 2013. I was in a toy store, taking a look for Christmas gifts, and I came across these beautiful dolls. I fell in love with them, but at that time I did not have much money and had to pass up.

A year later, in December 2014, I still had the sweet face of the DAC dolls deep in my mind, and I knew that if I did not buy one, I would regret over the years. So, on Christmas night, I opened one of my gifts and I found the adorable Merida looking at me.

Right now I have two Disney Animator Dolls. The second one for my collection was Rapunzel. I decided to give Mulan to my mom, because she have a oriental-dolls personal collection, and then she gave me back the adorable Rapunzel.

I have never imagined taht I would play with dolls again! But, since I recieved my Merida doll, I get relaxed every evening touching, brushing their hair, desingning and creating clothes for them.

My next dolls from this collection will be Bella and/or Aurora. I love their sweet expressions!!
